The education in the secondary school is 5 years / from the 8th to 12th grade/. The school day starts at 8.30 am. and ends at 2. 30 p.m.

Advantage of our unique school syllabus is the opportunity to enter the school after the 7th as well as after the 8th grade. In such a case our students not only study intensively English but achieve also good knowledge of all other school subjects since the 8th form.

8th form

  • intensive course of English language - 9 or 13 classes per week depending on the level;
  • second foreign language;
  • deep general knowledge in all school subjects;
  • IT and use of INTERNET;

    At the end of the school year our students apply for the National test of English and get their Certificate for Primary Education.

    9th - 12th form

  • two departments: language and science;
  • bilingual education on main school subjects;
  • sports and vocational activities - Drama, Newspaper, Dance, etc.
  • Anglia Examination Syndicate test of English - Proficiency level /gives the opportunity to study and work in an English-speaking environment/.

    We also offer preparation for international exams in all languages taught at Drita as well as business English. The work is structured in such a way that it suits the following requirements:

  • high criteria of control and assessment;
  • various techniques and methods of teaching;
  • interdisciplinary connections;
  • obligatory acquirement of the school minimum
  • school tests at the end of the term and the school year;
  • individual and group work on school projects and research work / at least twice a year /
  • use of modern technical equipment for the students' training and individual work;
  • providing possibilities for communication and interaction with peers and teachers.

    A qualified staff of teachers specialized in Great Britain, France, Germany, Russia and Austria works and takes care of the pupils.

    Additional activities

  • mountain expeditions - in the beginning of every school year, under the guidance of experienced instructors of mountain rescue and alpinism;
  • mountain adventure camp - in the end of June;
  • ski-school - for a week in the winter;
  • summer school - from June 15th to July 30th;
  • sea camp - in the end of June;
  • summer training in Great Britain - in the beginning of July
  • Sport Club Drita - all year round
